Traceability is the cornerstone of a thoroughly sustainable palm oil supply chain. Considering the complexity of the palm oil supply chain and the many actors involved within, traceability can pose a significant challenge without proper identification and verification. PT. BIA has mapped all of its suppliers to ensure that we are aware of where our supplies originate from and how they are produced.
Suppliers Identification
We source most of our crude palm oil (CPO) from our own estate and associated smallholders under the plasma scheme. A small portion of our fresh fruit bunches (FFB) is sourced from neighboring plantations.
Suppliers Verification
Our own estate and associated smallholders are bound by our NDPE Policy, which extensively regulates environmentally friendly, human rights conscious, and transparent operations. The same policy applies to third-party suppliers, of which implementation is verified through due diligence for every new supplier.
