In 2012 PT BIA started its business in Papua, precisely in the Merauke region. Along with the development of its business, PT BIA is committed to developing the surrounding area.

In early 2014 - 2016, PT BIA collaborated with Telkomsel to realize telecommunication access around PT BIA's working area. The cooperation between these two companies is commonly called B2B or Business to Business. From the results of this collaboration, it was successful in realizing 2 (two) towers with 2G network capacity around the Estate A area of PT BIA. At that time, telecommunication services that could be enjoyed were still in the form of telephone services and short message services (SMS), as well as EDGE data even though it was not optimal at that time. As time goes by, PT BIA continues to continue the work program it has created.

Then, in the period 2018 - 2020, PT.BIA tried to bring quality 4G services within reach even though they were in remote areas. And still working with Telkomsel, in March 2020, 4G services were successfully on air and enjoyed by people in the area around Merauke - Tanah Merah (Portal).

Then continued in May 2020, as many as 3 (three) towers with 4G services can be enjoyed by all people around Merauke in Muting village. With the presence of Telkomsel's 4G network, the community can now enjoy maximum broadband-based services.

We believe that with the presence of communication technology, distance and time are no longer an obstacle. Because being connected to the outside world is Papua's main capital to be able to progress and develop.
